Sync keeps two or more places matched, so a change in one shows up in the other. Backup keeps a separate, safe copy for the day something goes wrong. Most creative teams need both, and the storage industry often sells only one of them.
Files scattered across drives, desktops and buckets, inconsistent backups and version control as an afterthought are the usual result.
Unlimited syncs on the Free plan
Sync any location to any location, continuous or on a schedule. That covers local media to the cloud and cloud to NAS. The Free plan includes unlimited syncs, so you can connect your storage and set it going without a seat fee.
A safe place for the copy nobody touches
Archive Storage is S3-compatible and air-gapped by default. It is retrievable in close to real time, has no egress fees on Amove-managed storage, and costs $4 per TB per month, or $3 billed annually. It is not searchable, by design.
Use your own storage for backup instead if you prefer. Third-party storage providers may charge for theirs.
Versions and locking for the working copy
Editfly (beta), includes versioning and file locking, so a team works from one master file instead of a folder of copies.
A simple pattern
Keep active work on the fast storage your team uses. Sync it to a second location on a schedule. Move finished projects to Archive Storage or a bucket of your own.
